Where & When
The band will meet from June 6th to July 4th, 2016, on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Rehearsals will be held at Imagination Place (1155 East 3300 South in the Brickyard Plaza). The band will participate in a parade and concert the morning of July 4th. Please do not register for the class if you will be unavailable on July 4th.
The registration fee is $95, or $85 for current students of Al Badham or Imagination Place. Make checks payable to Imagination Place. Students will be financially responsible for lost music. A fee of $2.00 will be charged for each piece lost or damaged.
What to Bring
Students will be asked to provide their own folding music stand and folding chair, clearly marked with the student’s name. Instruments should be in a good state of repair, and reeds in hand at the first rehearsal. Music lyres appropriate for the student’s instruments will be necessary. Reeds and stands are available for purchase at Imagination Place.
Experience & Ability Level
The music to be performed can be considered difficult. However, any student with one year’s experience in a Junior High concert band should be able to perform the parts.
